Backend Developer

We’re looking for an open-minded engineer who will join the Global Accounts team. Our mission is to provide one, unified, secure authentication and authorization service across all of our products that gives an excellent user experience and keeps all of the essential user, product, and billing data in one place. 

You will:

  • Participate in a global, interdisciplinary, and sophisticated project, developed as a core element of our services;

  • Support internal and external developers by sharing the knowledge of the service, helping them in a smooth transition, and advice with further development;

  • Contribute to open-source projects, which are shared across multiple teams;

  • Set clear, achievable goals and help in shaping the roadmap for the Accounts service;

  • Work closely with all products representatives to explore further development opportunities and discover additional service’s potential;

  • Manage projects that involve cooperation with other engineering and product teams;

  • Set and track core metrics for the project on your own.

You are:

  • A team player: you work together with a team, enabling what’s best in people instead of single-playing the execution;

  • Well organized: you know how to set the priorities right and manage complex projects without assistance;

  • Growth-oriented: you are eager to learn and share your knowledge among other developers in the company;

  • Transparent in communication: you share your updates early & often, and you appreciate honest communication.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in working with consumer-facing apps;

  • Confidence in writing production code using Go, MySQL, gRPC, HTTP, OAuth 2.1 with unit tests in the framework of your choice (we’re open for engineers willing to learn Go with us);

  • Track record of writing well-tested and high-quality code;

  • Courage to move fast, make bold technical decisions, and capacity to sustain tight product cycles;

  • Understanding of platform and SaaS business models;

  • Basic experience in product roadmap refinement;

  • Basic interest in security, authentication, software engineering, internal services;

  • Good command of the English language.
