Web Engineer
Our Website Experience team is responsible for driving the user experience across all websites that our customers and partners interact with. We create, optimize, and maintain a large number of pages and campaigns that reach both our current and future customers. We believe the best websites don’t just look good — they perform, they convert, and they scale.
We are currently looking for a Web Engineer to help us craft fast, elegant, and measurable web experiences across the entire Text.com ecosystem. From high-impact landing pages to A/B test infrastructure, you’ll help us push the limits of what SaaS websites can do.
You will be responsible for:
Developing product websites and landing pages across entire Text.com ecosystem – you'll work with other creative team members to delight our visitors and raise the bar for SaaS websites;
Coding responsive, robust email templates that support our marketing campaigns;
Optimizing our content creation workflow by configuring, extending, and troubleshooting CMS platforms like Statamic, Decap, and Headless WordPress — and introducing smarter solutions as we grow;
Improving the overall code quality and development process;
Implementing analytics events, measuring conversion funnels, and building A/B test frameworks that deliver actionable insights;
Diagnosing and fixing performance bottlenecks across browsers, devices, and regions;
Collaborating with SEO specialists to implement best practices and elevate organic visibility.
Our Tech Stack:
Note: We don’t expect you to know everything — we value generalist thinking and a growth mindset over mastery of one stack.
Languages: JavaScript, TypeScript, PHP
Frameworks & Libraries: React, Stimulus, Node, GraphQL, REST API
Styling: CSS Modules, LESS
Build Tools: Webpack, Vite, NPM, PNPM, Composer
CMS & Frameworks: Hugo, Next.js, Statamic, Decap, Headless WordPress
DevOps: Docker
You may be a good fit for this role if you:
Consider HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and TypeScript as your second language, and are ready to apply them to build impressive websites;
Have substantial experience in constructing complex websites;
Understand the nuances between web apps and websites, along with their technical implications;
Stay updated with the latest Web APIs and platform enhancements;
Communicate effectively and can discuss your ideas and project updates with anyone, including those without a technical background;
Possess an eye for design and can provide thoughtful advice on how designs translate into live websites;
Understand SaaS fundamentals and how websites contribute to growth strategies.
