We're looking for a Senior Frontend Developer who thrives on solving complex challenges, values cross-functional collaboration, and understands the balance between crafting robust new features and perfecting the smallest details. What You'll Do
Own the core: Take ownership of enhancing and maintaining LiveChat's core functionalities, ensuring a smooth and intuitive user experience.
Collaborate across teams: Work with product designers, backend engineers, and QA specialists to deliver impactful features, following the Shape Up methodology.
Optimize for performance: Prevent memory leaks, minimize unnecessary renders, and ensure our interface is always fast and responsive.
Set the standard: Mentor teammates, shape coding practices, and champion quality testing with tools like Jest and Playwright.
Ensure reliability through testing: Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests with the aforementioned tools to safeguard against regressions.
Think like a user: Work closely with designers to prioritize usability and visually appealing features that deliver an outstanding user experience.
Balance big and small: Embrace variety — from building full-scale features to refining UI details that elevate the product's polish.
What You Bring
Frontend expertise:
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
Experience with React, Redux Saga, TanStack Query, and React-related ecosystem tools.
Knowledge of performance optimization techniques like memoization and React DevTools.
Understanding of real-time applications: Experience with WebSockets and server connections for real-time applications.
Proficiency in functional, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure every change is rock-solid.
Product orientation: A product-focused mindset that aligns technical solutions with the overall product vision and architecture.
Effective communication: The ability to explain technical concepts to varied audiences and mentor team members.
Self-starter: Comfortable taking initiative and ownership in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Team spirit: A taste for great coffee — and an even better sense of humor.
How we work
We have implemented a hybrid workplace, in which our team in Wrocław and nearby (up to 50 km), follows a 3/2 model: three days in the office to foster creativity, teamwork, and social interaction, and two days working from home.
If you’re based outside of Wrocław, you'll work in the office for three days each month to maintain valuable face-to-face connections, while continuing to contribute significantly to product development remotely.
