Test Automation Engineer - Workflows
About your team:
The Text Platform’s mission is to empower customers by providing seamless integration with Text APIs. We have developed the Text.com Marketplace, where customers can purchase applications that extend our core products. We also support developers in building apps and are enhancing our API usage for developers.
We created Workflows, a groundbreaking product designed to simplify and automate everyday tasks without any coding. Our tool targets non-technical users who want to effortlessly accelerate routine tasks in their work with the help of AI assistants.
This new tool in the Text Platform portfolio has led us to create a dedicated team. You’ll be working with Janek (Team Leader) and Wojtek (Frontend Developer). We’re expanding and will soon bring in more team members with diverse skills.
Role & Responsibilities:
Automate testing across various platforms within the Workflows product.
Work closely with the development team to understand the scope of new features and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Perform integration and component tests, focusing on the interaction between components and end-to-end workflows, as well as testing backend functionalities.
Provide valuable feedback on UX and frontend functionality, suggesting improvements for usability and intuitiveness.
Our ideal candidate has:
At least 3 years of experience as an Automation Tester.
Strong experience with Cypress or Playwright, particularly in writing integration and component tests.
The capability of working in an environment where manual testing is still necessary, while also being able to transition to and advocate for automation.
Experience with GitHub Actions, with the ability to maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
A proactive attitude, assertiveness, and communication that enable cross-functional work with various stakeholders (including API teams and frontend developers).
The ability to provide constructive feedback, not only on code but also on product usability.
How we work
We have implemented a hybrid workplace, in which our team in Wrocław and nearby (up to 50 km), follows a 3/2 model: three days in the office to foster creativity, teamwork, and social interaction, and two days working from home.
If you’re based outside of Wrocław, you'll work in the office for three days each month to maintain valuable face-to-face connections, while continuing to contribute significantly to product development remotely.
Benefits
We don’t want you to worry about all the basic benefits - like a Multisport card, private health care, or a home office equipment budget.
What we really want you to feel and what we believe in is that the real benefits come from the culture we’ve built.
With a hybrid work model (whether it's three days per week or three days per month, depending on your location), unlimited paid days off and sick days policy, an environment focused on outcomes instead of worked hours, and people dedicated to their work, you’ll find a workplace where you can thrive.
And here’s the icing on the cake: you’ll have the opportunity to work with the makers behind all Text products: LiveChat, ChatBot, HelpDesk, KnowledgeBase, OpenWidget.
Are you feeling like this might be a great place to consider working for? We feel it too ;) Join us and apply.
